Little rain, slippery roads but into the sun!

The clouds were hanging deep in the morning and we had to be quite concentrated not to lose sight of each other.
Within 5 minutes after crossing the Slovenian border into Croatia things started to look much better. The clouds gave way to the sun and you could feel the warmth starting to creep through our soaked gear.
Just moments after we changed from our rain suits to our normal gear Fabi's bike lost grip and he sled into the crash barrier before coming to a stop. Luckily he was able to slow down quite a bit before the impact so the damage was minimal. Only a deformed footpeg which we had fixed in a couple of minutes.
The road we wanted to take was closed, but we passed the barrier and found ourselves on a beautiful dirt road on which we could try out the offroad capabilities of our new bikes. The bikes performed GREAT and we had tons of fun on the gravel roads in Croatia.
When we were back on the main road Fabi accidentally dropped Basti's phone while he was charging it for him. Even though it fell out of his tank bag at 50 km/h and slid down the road it didn't break and the display didn't even have any scratches. Good Samsung S2 quality right there.
After an eventful day with a lot of ups and downs we decided to look for a campsite and a place to sleep. We found one right in front of the ocean. And since there weren't any other campers we decided to set up our tent in front of the ocean and enjoyed the beautiful sunset right from our own tent.
